Dear Potato Professional,

With the PotatoEurope 2022 Newsletter, we will keep you up to date regarding the upcoming edition of PotatoEurope, taking place on 7-8 September in Germany, at Rittergut Bockerode (near Hanover).

This week, the preparations for the event were given a boost with a kick-off meeting for several partners and media. You can read more about this happening below.

We would also like to take the chance to remind potential exhibitors that the closing date for registrations for stand space on the open air area, in the tent hall and for the participation in Machinery Demonstrations is April 29, 2022. After this date the organisation will start to make the first exhibition plan, allocating booths to the already registered exhibitors. It will still be possible for companies to register after the start of the stand allocation, as suitable exhibition spaces remain available.

PotatoEurope 2022 holds successful kick-off

On April 26, the organisation of PotatoEurope 2022 Germany held a successful kick-off meeting in the presence of representatives of several event partners.

'The PotatoEurope trade fair, with trial fields focusing on potato varieties, an extensive machine demonstration programme and several so-called specials with different themes, will once again attract potato professionals from around Europe on September 7th and 8th, 2022', said the Project Manager of PotatoEurope Germany, Wilfried Wolf (DLG), in his welcome speech.

'Since the first edition in Germany in 2006, it is now the fifth time the event will be held at Rittergut Bockerode. We are looking forward to being the location for the potato industry's leading meeting place again this year,' added Friedrich Henkels, owner and farm manager of Rittergut Bockerode, inviting the guests to take a look around the event location.
